On January 17th I successfully defended my dissertation at the University of Delaware, and February 3rd was my first day as a Research Scientist at Adesis, Inc.! 🥳

I live most of my life in circumstances where not all scientists, engineers, and inventors are assumed to be men. Then, periodically, I get hit by something like this. I know that it is a silly quiz on a cruise ship, but it made my stomach drop.
