More investors should try activism, that would help hard sloggers like @DanielSLoeb1 who pioneered this idea. If more were to join, the world could actually become a better place. Instead we have funds managing trillions sleepwalking their clients' money to the grave. 🪦
Things are about to get very constipated in Texas. Let's see if the doctors can handle it. $SPY $QQQ

Elon dear, we do not want you building data centres on our land and by the way can you pay for everything we need. Hugs and love, Gina 🤗
Texas has elected a moron. How entertaining is that @elonmusk ?
$SMCI it is for next week. Haha

Boomers reading this:
Fraught market. My plan: I want to circle the wagons around the best and redeploy capital into non-tech, less risky stocks. Keep watching our Annual Meeting!

This is where $SMCI has an edge with their quick to deploy modular approach, combined with the cooling technologies. Right, @charlesliang? Keep going. If Elon likes it and Jensen is a fan, you must be doing something right.

I wonder how much of machine learning's advancement is simply rediscovering good discipline.

Texas Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa: "We can have a strong working relationship with Elon Musk and his companies, but it has to be on our terms"
Jake Tapper asked her about blocking the sale of a Texas state park to SpaceX, and whether Musk might leave the state over it. Her answer:
“Well, look, as I said before, we have to have balance. These are our beaches we’re talking about. I mean, selling our beach to Elon Musk is just something that is almost unimaginable. It’s unacceptable. Our beaches are enshrined in our Texas Constitution as being free and open to the people of Texas because they are our beaches."
"We can have a strong working relationship with Elon Musk and his companies, but it has to be on our terms. It cannot be just running over the people of Texas. And that’s what changes now that I will be governor.”
I’m fighting to block a proposed 400-megawatt data center from being built on federal land at NAVWAR, here in San Diego. If built, this would be the largest data center in the state. Our community has been clear: we don’t want this!

Ok, this would explain a lot in the current market particularly in power names that are sitting on huge backlogs of orders and unprecedented demand. It probably means those assets will just go to the strongest hands, Musk is looking for bargains not super intelligence derailment
Sounds like the obvious move for Supermicro is to get more exposure to outside the US (with greater scope to command better margins). The recent political shift might help here as other countries, like India, do want to catch up to the US and are eager to build. $SMCI
$SMCI just needs to put an @elonmusk in charge to get the stock price up. I guess he's got a conflict as a big customer but @charlesliang should be able to get someone to fix those margins and lower their cost of capital.
Also, working with SpaceX and Tesla gives Supermicro a massive strategic advantage to peers in positioning for the trajectory of the Super Intelligence wave, particularly the requirements to support a massive robot industry. Future looks super, while the present looks hard $SMCI
SpaceX will attempt to catch both the Super Heavy booster and Starship on the upcoming flight.
If both are successful, it will mark the first time that all parts of an orbital rocket return to Earth intact.
This is the critical breakthrough needed to make life multiplanetary.
More than a dozen flight tests and years of development, with countless hours worked by SpaceX engineers and technicians, all come down to this: the first orbital Starship launch carrying advanced Starlink satellites bound for space.
Watch “Go For Orbit” and experience the moments behind flying the most ambitious Starship mission yet

VIX Curve update:
The VIX futures curve has flipped from the calm contango of September into sharp front month backwardation, with November spiking to 24 while every contract from December out stays anchored near 21, telling us the market is pricing an acute near term scare that it expects to pass rather than a lasting fear bid, the classic shakeout and not regime change signature.
