🚨 Delhi Airport Records Its Best-Ever First Half:
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) recorded its highest-ever first-half traffic in FY2026-27, handling 3.85 crore passengers between April and September 2026, up 6.2% year-on-year.
Passenger Breakdown:
🇮🇳 Domestic: 2.81 crore
🌍 International: 1.04 crore
The airport averaged around 65 lakh passengers per month.
Air Traffic Surges
Delhi Airport recorded nearly 2.33 lakh Air Traffic Movements (ATMs), including arrivals and departures, marking a 6.9% increase year-on-year.
Passenger traffic, aircraft movements and cargo throughput all achieved record first-half volumes, highlighting Delhi Airport’s growing role as one of India’s key aviation hubs.
