🚨Houston fans! @JDubbIsHim and myself are hosting an opening week watch party Friday, October 23rd at 7:30 to watch the Rockets take on the Spurs! When: October 23rd at 7:30 CT Where: 20516 Katy Fwy, Katy, TX 77449 (Here is a clip of what happened at the last watch party)

The vibes are different this year man

If you’re keeping up with the Rockets 2027 pick watch, the Brooklyn Nets lost to the Charlotte Hornets and the Phoenix Suns are down FOURTY to the Portland Trail Blazers. Tonight just keeps on getting better.

Good vibes, good people. Until next time, Toyota Center. 🤘🏽

You’re not supposed to be this good when you’re in year 20.

I loved how nothing was forced tonight. The process looked great. Team looked unselfish. Made second efforts on defense. This is what Rockets basketball is supposed to look like.

Alperen Şengün All-NBA season incoming. It looked EASY for him tonight.

My favorite stat of the night: Fred VanVleet - 11 assists - 0 turnovers Welcome back, Fred.

And with tonight’s win, the Rockets win their first season opener since the 2017 win over the KD-Warriors. The last time the Rockets won on opening night, they finished the season with a franchise record 65 wins. 👀

Kevin Durant looked amazing in his season debut: 30 PTS 6 REB 3 AST 1 STL 1 BLK 10-16 FG 2-4 3P 72 TS +12 This man is 38 years old.

This is something I screamed all last year, but people were too busy in love with what we lost/hating KD that they ignored our young players get to LEARN FROM KEVIN DURANT every day in practice. If you believe in our young core, that makes the trade worth it alone.

Jabari Smith actually looks like Kevin Durant

Where were you when Wemby and Cooper Flagg traded winning MVP every year for the next decade?

Eh well the Rockets thing to do would be to blow this very promising lead.

Game going so well we are probably going to get Bruce Thornton opening night minutes 🥹

I absolutely LOVE how much the Rockets are forcing the issue in transition.
