The whole of BTS are massive hip hop fans. They even wrote a song “hip hop lover” to shout out their rap idols. That track has another J Cole reference, thanks to j-hope’s verse. One correction - Born Singer, the J Cole adaptation is a BTS track not a solo one 💜💜💜

So I think this list is crazy bc imagine saying some of these Top 8 are “global” on a scale anywhere near any member of BTS but that being said, j-hope really did the damn thing during Ch. 2. He’s such a complete artist and he put out incredibly high quality music, stages, artistic projects, and more as a soloist. Super proud of him for making the list especially since he hasn’t released anything as a soloist in over a year (which was part of the ranking considerations).
