Honestly, I’ve had my fair share of frustrating moments in the market, and one experience that really made me appreciate the idea of trading bots was a trade I almost got right but somehow managed to mess up. 😂 I don’t even know how I managed my emotional status with my academics during those days 😭😭 I remember spending a good part of my day studying a chart, drawing support and resistance levels, checking indicators, and waiting patiently for what I thought was the perfect entry. Eventually, the setup came, and I entered the trade. The funny part is that the market decided to move exactly when I wasn’t looking at my screen. Sometimes when I’m in class or at clinicals By the time I checked again, the price had already moved against me. I panicked, exited too early, and watched the market reverse shortly after. Imagine doing all that analysis, getting the direction right eventually, but losing money because you couldn’t monitor the market every second. It’s very painful that I do crash out sometimes 😭 It get to some point that I felt like “ Am I cursed” 😭😂 But that experience taught me something which is “knowing how to trade and being able to execute a trading strategy consistently are two different things” We’re human. We get tired, distracted, emotional, and sometimes impatient. We sleep, attend to other responsibilities, and occasionally let fear or greed influence our decisions. That’s one reason I’m interested in trading bots. The idea of having a tool that can monitor the market, execute predefined strategies, and help reduce emotional decision making is genuinely appealing. Of course, I don’t believe trading bots are magic money machines. They can make mistakes, market conditions change, and no bot can guarantee profits. You still need to understand the strategy, manage your risk, and know what you’re trusting with your money. But if technology can help take some of the pressure off manual trading while making execution more disciplined, why not explore it? I’m curious about other people’s experiences too.
