This October 10th (X/X), we're celebrating Real Women's Day. Ya know, the kind that can give birth and breastfeed and menstruate and lack a Y chromosome. The only kind of women.
Women are not menstruators, bleeders, chestfeeders, cervix-havers, uterus-owners, egg-producers, or people with birthing capacity.
Women are just women. Adult human females.
I would be remiss if I didn't specifically say this day should be used to celebrate and honor the girls and women squarely in harms way because of the violence that has broken out in the Middle East and everything it has led to.

Just saw the video from @Phillies #RedOctober events. Wowza. No comparison to anything we saw this week in Atlanta. It was so quiet until the end. Can’t wait until tomorrow.
LOL, it's never "Experts say it helps students, some say it's harmful" which is 100% true as well. Semantics are important, and prove bias in the writer.

If you believe in TRUTH, but believe people can change sex, you don't believe in truth.
If you believe in SAFETY, but believe that men who want to be women should be in women's prisons and shelters, you don't believe in safety.
If you believe in FAIRNESS, but believe men who want to be women should play sport in the women's category, you don't believe in fairness.
If you believe in HONESTY, but tell a girl she can be a boy, you don't believe in honesty.
If you believe in DIGNITY, but believe men who want to be women should be allowed in the changerooms and showers with women and girls, you don't believe in dignity.
If you believe in SCIENCE, but believe a man who wants to be a woman is a woman, then you don't believe in science.
If you believe in RESPECT, but don't believe women have the right to require some female-only spaces and services, then you don't believe in respect.
If you believe in DIVERSITY, but only believe that views that align with yours are allowed, you don't believe in diversity.
If you believe in KINDNESS, but attack and call people you disagree with 'Nazis' and other slurs, you don't believe in kindness.
If this is you, you are a hypocrite.
So I'm with ya that women deserve credit for dealing with that, and maybe time off every month as well. But, for so many years we men have been told that periods do NOT cause problems that would interfere with work. Men and women are different, biologically. Thankfully, too.
