What if your USDC could earn yield and accumulate points without relying on whether the market pumps or dumps?
That’s what caught my attention about @atoma_fi, a market-neutral USDC yield protocol on Arbitrum.
With Atoma Convergence, Chapter I: Formation now live, the Genesis Points Boost gives early depositors another reason to explore the ecosystem.
Here’s what you should know.
How does Atoma work?
Atoma uses automated delta-neutral strategies, opening equal-sized long and short positions on the same asset.
Instead of predicting price direction, it aims to generate yield from funding rate differences and price gaps across trading venues.
Market-neutral doesn’t mean risk-free, though. Funding reversals, liquidity issues, venue failures and smart contract risks still exist.
Two vaults, different goals:
✧ Atoma RWA: Return-focused, trading stock and commodity perps mainly on Lighter and trade.xyz. 3-day epoch.
✧ Atoma Index: Points-focused, rotating capital across supported venues while maintaining hedged positions. 7-day epoch.
Both accept USDC and qualify for the Genesis Points Boost.
Now, the interesting part: Genesis Boost
Deposit into either vault by November 13 to qualify.
Your balance at the November 14, 00:00 UTC snapshot determines how much earns boosted Atoma Points until December 7.
The multiplier depends on total Atoma TVL:
→ Below $500K: 1.25x
→ $500K+: 1.5x
→ $1M+: 1.75x
→ $2M+: 2x
Everyone who qualifies receives the same multiplier based on the snapshot TVL. Existing deposits count too.
Here’s something worth understanding:
Atoma Points and venue points are separate.
Atoma Points reward vault participation and receive the Genesis Boost.
Venue points from supported platforms like Lighter, Extended and trade.xyz continue separately without the multiplier.
These points don’t guarantee future financial rewards.

Choose your preferred vault.
Deposit approximately 100 USDC minimum.
Receive vault shares and track your NAV and points.
No lock-up or warmup period, but withdrawals settle after the vault epoch, carry a 0.5% fee, and stop points accrual once requested.
Another thing I find interesting is Atoma’s transparency.
NAV updates are published onchain roughly hourly, contracts are verified on Arbiscan, and performance can be monitored at app.atoma.fi/stats.
Atoma also secured first place at Arbitrum Open House Singapore, winning $60K.
My take?
The Genesis Boost is interesting, but what makes @atoma_fi worth researching is how it combines hedged USDC yield strategies, trading venue points and onchain transparency.
It’s still an early-stage protocol, so understanding the risks matters just as much as understanding the rewards.
