The majority of the player base has been quickselling any LS diamond that they’ve pulled for the last 3 months because they have been effectively worthless to keep in your inventory. So now they are making a new demand for them out of nowhere to artificially inflate the cost of cards and potentially drive up stub sales; which tarnishes their reputation as being NMS friendly.
Also limiting it to diamonds only concentrates that new artificial demand on like 40 cards as opposed to any of the 1200 LS cards, so it’ll make these cards more expensive theoretically, which is one again anti NMS friendly
Back when SDS wasn’t greedy 24/7 and making decisions that piss us all off

That is, at cheapest, 75k stubs per exchange that they expect you to do 4 times for various amounts.

Finest packs cannot be farmed in Deluxe or Premier packs, only Ultras.
The exchanges for 4 Finest cards you’re gonna need for the collection require exchanging 85+ Live Series cards.
There has been so many problems plaguing MLB The Show this year, and coming up on the final heavy content week of the cycle they stick the knife in a little bit deeper for good measure.
Sony’s greedy ways continue to destroy every player base they can get near.
@MLBTheShow just can’t stop annoying us. There’s some good stuff and some bad stuff today. I like the exchanges but why does it have to be only LS diamonds. Why isn’t the finest pack in the stashed packs we have prepped. Why do so many cards have low vision/contact.
