In today's episode of I Hate it Here, Melania says no compromise on abortion rights when still the best any #BigRepro org has come up with is they'll *try* to do what is "politically possible," details to come down the road, for now let's pass a bunch of $50M bans.

What's still sitting with me from this piece is the historically anti-abortion insinuation that self interest and profit, not patients, motivates abortion workers. Pretty insidious to see it weaponized against funds and clinics by repro themselves.

Anyone suggesting it's not strategic or it's radical that funds refuse to erase people who need abortions must have forgotten that exceptionalizing rather than normalizing abortion drove the access death spiral under Roe.

Donors: if you consider yourselves strategic, divest from #BigRepro until their strategy is better than sneering at under-resourced funds because they center abortion seekers. #BigRepro is burning your money and running the “movement” into the ground.

SHAME on @yes4florida for throwing young people's dignity, autonomy, and safety under the bus for a political win. Celebrating forced parental consent is a new #BigRepro low point. The harm of pushing these talking points will be felt across the country. Shame.

If you're pro-choice and didn't know people need and get abortions in all trimesters there's no time like the present to get educated. At no point in pregnancy should anyone be denied bodily autonomy, empathy, and dignity.
