Saddened to learn of the passing of former Alameda County Supervisor and two time MTC Chair Scott Haggerty. @MTCBATA
It was an honor to serve with Scott at MTC. He was a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly to advance transportation, regional collaboration, and the quality of life for Bay Area residents. His leadership helped guide the region through some of its most challenging times and left a lasting impact on projects that will serve generations to come.
My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former colleagues, and everyone whose lives he touched.
Rest in Peace, Scott. Your legacy of public service will not be forgotten.
