We don’t currently have any grant funding to support @SkypeScientist for 2025 😬
But! We have Frog Facts advent calendars to help float us until I get us funding! They are amazing! Every day scratch off the sparkles to get a frog fact.
If we sell 5000 it will fully fund 2025.

While conducting Spotted Turtle surveys, Alex recently encountered a special marked turtle at a long-term monitoring site. The notching on the carapace revealed that this individual was originally captured by eminent turtle biologist Dr. Jackie Litzgus in 2000.

You hear a lot of weird things deep in the forest. Sometime they're the trees, sometimes they're the wildlife, sometimes they're the ancient boreal entities that unblinkingly stare through the eyes of the aspen

People tend to think of “STEM careers” as good money but the vast majority of people I know working in wildlife/the environmental field are making about the same as fast food workers for jobs that require a master’s degree. No joke in this one sorry

A historic day for Colorado and for the first time ever — we released 5 wolves, 3 males and 2 females, in Grand County today.
Captured in Oregon, the wolves were evaluated by our veterinarians & biologists, fitted with GPS collars & transported to Colorado for their release.

Please don’t throw away your mascara wands. Instead, clean with dawn soap, place them in a ziploc bag and mail them to a Wildlife Refuge accepting donations. They can be used to clean away oil, larvae, fly eggs, mites, mud and other contaminants from wildlife.
