Crane Flies are generally around the size of a quarter, while mosquitoes tend to be about the size of the eraser on a pencil. Crane Flies do not bite or spread disease and also do not eat mosquitoes although they are commonly, mistakenly called 'mosquito eaters'. #MosquitoMonday

Shaking like a leaf 🍃
As their name suggests, leaf insects (Phylliidae) are camouflaged to look like leaves. Some species even sway to mimic leaves blowing in the wind. This all acts as a clever defence from predators.
