Born too late? Every age had its moment. This one is ours. An Art Deco retro-futurist music video.
I spent weeks training Grok Bot and ran several rounds of video generations, and eventually it was doing 90%+ of the work. I came up with the idea and reviewed every cut. @grok
At seven the field had no ending.
Then life started handing me bricks. Some fences protect you. Some become walls you live inside for 30 years.
Dads, give your kids fences where fences are called for. Roots and wings. The rules, not the fear of everything.
Took a lot of rounds training Grok Bot at first, but now the process is mostly streamlined. Bot knows what I want and asks for my review on the important decisions. @grok @bot

Being 45 is such a strange experience.
One minute, you want to make more money, get ridiculously fit, reinvent your entire life, and become the healthiest version of yourself.
The next minute, you want to disappear into the mountains for three weeks, turn your phone off, avoid everyone, and remember what peace feels like.
You want adventure, but you also want your own bed.
You want to be productive, but you also want to cancel every plan you’ve made.
You want to build wealth, travel the world, and accomplish big things, but you also consider 8:30 p.m. a perfectly reasonable bedtime.
And honestly? A mug of hot chocolate, a cozy blanket, and absolutely nobody asking you for anything sounds like the ultimate luxury.
Is this what getting older feels like, or have I just reached the age where peace and quiet are the real definition of success? 😂
Ever get lost in a city you built yourself? Every hurt became a wall, every mistake another tower, until he couldn't see the stars anymore. This part of Build Me a Road is the prayer: Jesus, which walls are Yours and which ones are me? Give me the humility to tear it down.

Ender's Tribe by Orson Scott Card is out today, so here's my Ender's Game tribute song. 'The enemy's gate is down' is still the best leadership lesson I ever read as a kid: change where you're standing and the whole problem flips. Took a lot of rounds training Grok Bot at first, plus a lot of hands-on editing on my end. Now the process is mostly streamlined. Replying to @garrxttt
Claiming that China believes Japan or Korea belongs to them is a level of hallucination and propaganda so grotesque it borders on comedy.
Historically, it was imperial Japan that invaded and brutalized China, and it was the US that flattened Korea and Vietnam with napalm. China strictly adheres to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and non-intervention in sovereign states.
But of course, for someone who makes a living off the defense industry and selling military hardware, the only way to sell amphibious equipment is to invent monsters under the bed. Stop consuming fairy tales spun by Pentagon defense contractors.

Who else would buy a St. Michael the Archangel inflatable like this for their front yard?
I’m tired of seeing witches, and creepy decorations everywhere.
If we’re going to reclaim All Hallows’ Eve, let’s do it with something bold, eye-catching, and anything but lame!

The book that helped Elon Musk through depression wasn’t Nietzsche.
It was The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Here are 6 ideas from the book that changed how he saw his life:
1. You need a world bigger than your pain.

If you’re looking at the new Roadster and all you can talk about is sales and margins, you’re missing the whole fuckin point.
As a long-term Tesla investor, I’m looking at what Tesla and SpaceX can build together.
Now imagine what could happen if the two companies actually merged.
This car is a glimpse of that potential.
Some of you are so busy counting cars that you can’t see what’s right in front of you.
Think bigger.

Your Bible doesn't say fight sexual immorality.
It says flee.
Run. Not stand your ground. Not manage it. Not install an accountability app and white-knuckle through another Tuesday night.
Flee.
"Flee fornication." 1 Corinthians 6:18
You know why God didn't say fight?
Because the men who tried to fight it are the same men who lost everything.
Samson could kill a lion with his bare hands. Rip city gates off their hinges. Slaughter a thousand men with a jawbone.
He couldn't say no to Delilah. She had his head shaved while he slept on her knees. The strongest man who ever lived ended up blind, chained, grinding grain like an animal.
David killed Goliath as a teenager. Wrote the Psalms. God called him "a man after mine own heart."
He saw a woman bathing and couldn't look away. Nine months later he'd committed adultery, murdered her husband, and buried a son.
Solomon asked God for wisdom and got more than any man in history.
Seven hundred wives. Three hundred concubines. They turned his heart after other gods. The wisest man who ever lived died an idolater.
The strongest fell.
The wisest fell.
The man after God's own heart fell.
"Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." 1 Corinthians 10:12
You're not stronger than Samson. You're not wiser than Solomon. You're not closer to God's heart than David.
Stop fighting. Start running.
Everybody wants the crown until they find out what it weighs. This one's about servant leadership. Two coworkers chase the same promotion, and only one figures out the job is lifting people up, not standing over them. Mark 10:43.
