🚨 PEOPLE WHO WANT TO LEARN TO KNIT🧶🚨 If there’s any interest I have scanned some old knitting books and I might do a series on beginner knitting, the way I learned. With instructional videos of me and additional online resources for each step of the way. Thinking maybe we can knit a potholder or dishcloth together, if you’re interested reply below. After the holidays of course. Maybe between Christmas and New Year’s. Probably a four or five part series casting on, knit, pearl, and casting off. The basic knitting.

#BREAKING: Governor Katie Hobbs has declined to declare a state of emergency for the EF1 tornado in Overgaard. However, we did notice DOC crews and members of State Forestry working on the affected areas. Hobbs said she sent help, and that is true. But the area will receive no more assistance for the recovery efforts. @GovernorHobbs @BlackmanForAZ

An oldie but a goodie. In 1968 a bunch of entitled hippy bastards sent a letter detailing their specious demands to the Warden and Fellows of Wadham College, Oxford. This was their letter of reply, which speaks to how far the academy has since fallen.

Tonight, let's pray for those lost in addiction, who feel afraid and alone, terrified they will never be free. Pray for their families, who've watched their loved ones disappear before their eyes. Pray our Almighty God, author of all mercy and compassion, will grant them hope.

Life-threatening flash flood and debris flow with HUGE LOG intercepted in Encinal, New Mexico after 4-5 inches of new rainfall. The flash flood smells like it has a wildfire burn scar origin. More heavy rain moving in!

There are spots on the Little Colorado where the water is radioactive, having leached from soil or washed directly into the river. This empties into the Colorado River which, even under normal conditions is “hot” enough to raise water temperature at the confluence. There are 1/2

…signs warning about radioactive water. There are still more places up & down canyon where the water is radioactive. I’m wondering if this increase in flow will be monitored for an uptick in transuranics & for how long, if so. What are the hazards, & where? ☢️

Today, the calendar makes a right triangle, for the last time this century. This Saturday is October 24, 2026. Write it as 10/24/26 or 24/10/26, and the same beautiful relationship appears: 10² + 24² = 26² 100 + 576 = 676 But here’s what makes today special. There are infinitely many Pythagorean triples. Only a handful fit our calendar. Using the rule month² + day² = (last two digits of the year)², the month cannot exceed 12, and the day cannot exceed 31. Those small limits leave exactly 12 qualifying dates in this century. Today is the last. The next will be March 4, 2105: 3² + 4² = 5² That is a wait of more than 78 years. An infinite family of triangles. Just twelve appearances on a century’s calendar. Happy Pythagorean Triple Day.

⚠️THEY JUST GOT CAUGHT PLANNING TO DECLARE THE GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE — NOW THEY’RE SLIDING INTO RIGHT-WING DMS @DataRepublican already warned: do not trust or engage anyone who does regime change for a living. Deception is the job. Danielle Reiff and the Democracy Renewal Group spent decades at USAID running overseas “democracy transitions.” The leaked calls show them laying out “red lines” that would make the U.S. federal government illegitimate, then treating the resulting crisis as a window for an extra-constitutional re-founding — third Continental Congress style, options for governors, the full package. Once the audio went public, the outreach to conservative podcasters and influencers started as DAMAGE CONTROL. Typical message: > “Hi [Name], Danielle Reiff here. Some private discussions from the Democracy Renewal Group about potential legitimacy crises have been taken out of context. I’d like a chance to explain what we were actually discussing. Open to a short call?” "FUCK YOU" Hard no. We are not taking the call, not letting them reframe the tapes, and not giving regime-change operators a platform.
FYI, I have multiple followers tell me that Danielle Reiff is reaching out to them. The common vein seems to be that they are targeting podcasters & influencers on the right.

I'm saying this on the record... My amplification of @DataRepublican's information on my X feed has resulted in elements of the Federal Government taking notice - elements that are still under control of the Deep State team that is working with those planning the Color Revolution...and they ain't happy...every day is a challenge to figure out who the folks are who are loyal to @realDonaldTrump and those who are still working to undermine, from within, the rule of law and his agenda...
The most common question about the Democracy Files is: "What do we do now?" As always, there is only one Answer.

I actually like the “for you” tab. It’s where you can train the algorithm by telling it what you don’t want to see. You can tell it topics you don’t want to see & whiny losers you want to see less of. Eventually it catches on & introduces you to new folks to add to your follows.
The app REALLY wants to force you on to the "For You" page instead of Following.

🚨🚨🚨🚨Just heard from one of the top Republicans in Arizona that we are AHEAD of Democrats by 3% in early ballots/voting, which is practically unheard of since Republicans tend to vote more on Election Day. But in order to defeat the cheat, we gotta increase that to 10%! KEEP THE EARLY VOTING COMING! Vote early in person to escape the mail-in ballot fraud, and DO NOT risk voting in person on Election Day so they cannot cheat by an "accident" on Election Day like they did in 2022.

In 1797, fresh out of the presidency, George Washington went into the whiskey business. His Scottish farm manager, James Anderson, convinced him Mount Vernon's gristmill could feed a distillery. Washington was skeptical. Two years later it was the largest whiskey distillery in America. In 1799 it ran five copper stills and produced nearly 11,000 gallons, mostly unaged rye made from 60% rye, 35% corn, and 5% malted barley. It cleared about $7,500 that year, one of the most profitable operations on the estate. The work at the stills was done by six enslaved men. The irony: in 1794 Washington led troops to crush the Whiskey Rebellion over the federal whiskey tax. Three years later he was paying that tax as one of the country's biggest producers. He died in December 1799. The distillery burned in 1814 and sat buried for nearly 200 years until archaeologists excavated it. Mount Vernon rebuilt it on the original foundations in 2007, and it still makes whiskey today by hand using 18th century methods.
