My request for the Mayor to take on Police & Crime Commissioner powers from May has been agreed by the Home Secretary tonight.

Labour did not close the gender pay gap at Birmingham City Council, instead it has a debt of £760 million in equal pay liabilities (& no doubt the tax payer) AND bankrupted the council. Are you really sure @AnnelieseDodds that you are the party of women and want to say that ??
Labour is the party of women.
While our opponents pay lip service to women, only Labour can close the gender pay gap, tackle the epidemic of violence against women and girls and fix the shocking state of women's healthcare.
Because only Labour has the political will to do so.
