The Pistons shot 40 threes against the Celtics on Tuesday. They shot 40 threes all of SEVEN TIMES last year. If you’re still under the impression this offense lacks shooting, this is the time to re-evaluate that position.

I don’t expect (or frankly want to see) 40 threes per game, but 36? That’s about league average. And when you factor in Detroit’s ability to dominate the paint, boards, turnover and transition battles…this has the potential to be a very dangerous offense

There was a lot of criticism thrown JB’s way during the first half when the Pistons weren’t hitting threes. I think it’s totally unfounded. The Pistons opening night offense was extremely encouraging on all levels. The fact they shot 40 threes was HUGE.
