Seemed like it was pretty obvious Dalton Rushing needed surgery 2+ months ago Now he’s not expected to return to catching until AFTER the All-Star break? The hitting part seems irrelevant, are they gonna give him 3 AB’s off the bench a week for the entire first half?
Dalton Rushing to undergo right elbow surgery, per @maddie_m_lee. Expected timeline for return to catching is about 9 months, return to hitting well before that.

2026 World Series: 19th in payroll vs. 25th in payroll I could have sworn people told me that the teams that don’t spend money don’t have a chance to win it all

Pirates owner probably seeing this is possible and building his argument as to why spending money is a horrible thing to do

Have to give another shoutout to Kyle Tucker It was a disappointing first season in Los Angeles, but he was the only hitter on the Dodgers to really show up this postseason .333 AVG, .938 OPS, 162 wRC+ It’s a damn shame his performance was wasted

Will be forever grateful for the run this team went on After the heartbreak of 2021-2023, I genuinely wondered if I’d ever see a title in a non-COVID season Winning it all in 2024 was incredible & Game 7 in Toronto will forever be special There’s a reason the 3-peat is so hard

In 8 postseason games, the Dodgers went 5-for-43 with runners in scoring position and stranded 50 runners on base

One of the more pathetic performances from a team you’ll ever see in October The back-to-back champs just got beat down in every aspect of the game Lights were too bright for the rotation. Dave Roberts had the worst managed series of his career. And the offense fucking sucked.

Not that it even matters, but why the hell was Edwin Diaz sent out for his third inning of work?

I absolutely HATED the decision to bunt You already have the runner in scoring position, WHY give them a free out? Worst-case scenario he gets out, AND the runner in still in scoring position Not at least turning to Josue De Paula in that moment is a fucking joke
