James Gunn reportedly wants the DCU’s Batman to be more technologically advanced and face supernatural villains rather than purely grounded threats.

It's sad how many people was clowning this person a while ago for liking this edit.
You don't like it? OK
You don't think it's good? That's okay too
Should you clown someone for liking it and thinking that is good? No you shouldn't
That's just stupid, let ppl enjoy shit they like

yall don’t actually want original movies if you won’t go see Wildwood.
> director is adamantly anti AI
> the entire film was handcrafted puppets and environments
> some of the best action of the year right up there with The Odyssey
> made me cry twice in the theater

I'm grateful Laika is run by the son of a billionare that doesn't care how much money he loses in the course of making straight artistic fire.

James Gunn doesn’t want a Justice League-centric DCU.
Responding to fans on Threads, Gunn defended his approach to DC Studios, arguing that individual stories should stand on their own rather than exist simply to set up the next big crossover.
He compared the DCU to Star Wars, where countless stories can unfold across different characters, locations, and time periods.
Gunn also confirmed that the Superman Saga will continue through Man of Tomorrow and beyond, bringing together characters introduced throughout the DCU.
I didn’t love Clayface, but I didn’t hate it either. And that’s okay. I appreciate Gunn’s willingness to experiment rather than play it safe. It’s the same reason I enjoyed Lanterns on its own terms.
I don’t need every DC project to connect to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, or the Justice League.
I want Gunn to go wild with his green lights.
Give me a DC Universe overflowing with creativity, even if a few projects miss the mark.

• "Wildwood may be LAIKA's true masterpiece" - @THR
• "A masterpiece of stop-motion animation... with a battle sequence that rivals the work seen in 'Game of Thrones' or 'Lord Of The Rings'" - @NextBestPicture
• "A cinematic achievement that we won't see the likes of again" - @FilmHoundsMag
See Wildwood this Friday exclusively in theaters.

Remember a year ago when QT was fine with Vanilla being hate farmed by fanboys who insisted she ‘threw her under the bus’ only to turn around a year later and actually throw 4 of her friends under the bus publicly 😮💨

Rob McElhenney says the two-against-one rule on Always Sunny has saved them years of emotional arguments because production is too expensive to negotiate every single decision
"early on we realized let’s just institute a rule of two against one. And it’s really really and I know it sounds silly and simple but it has been profound"
"The assumption is do you trust me? Yes. Do I trust you? Yes. And the three of us trust each other and we trust our taste. So therefore if two of us feel strongly about something then the other one has to capitulate no matter what no questions asked"
"They get a chance to plead their case and we all have to remain open-minded. But if the two of us still or two of them say nope this is the way we’re going you move on quickly"
"And it actually diffuses so many problems so quickly because you don’t have time as you all know you work in production it’s so expensive to run these shows you just don’t have time to negotiate every single thing and you got to move fast and that has saved us I mean that has saved us hours I would actually say that that saved years of our lives emotionally"

Rob McElhenney dropping that two-against-one rule is genius. Trusting each other enough to just move on instead of fighting every decision keeps the whole show alive.

QTCinderella has been sending out mass false DMCA takedowns to channels, including mine. I have received 10 of these takedowns from clips in 2025. Clipping small segments is absolutely fair use
@qtcinderella is one of the few creators who will try to continually silence others with lawfare, having done this before. If this was a mistake or misidentification, hopefully she can retract it
