🟣 7 Things Cristiano Ronaldo Achieved Before Lionel Messi ⚽🔥 Just a little football throwback for the fans! While both CR7 and Messi are absolute legends, here are 7 milestones Cristiano Ronaldo hit before Leo Messi: 1️⃣ 🏆 First Major International Trophy Cristiano lifted the Euro 2016 trophy with Portugal before Messi won Copa América in 2021. 2️⃣ 💯 100 International Goals Ronaldo reached the 100-goal mark for his country in 2020. Messi followed in 2023. 3️⃣ 🎯 First Puskás Award Winner CR7 won the very first FIFA Puskás Award in 2009 for that rocket against Porto. Messi’s still chasing that one! 4️⃣ ⚽ 50 International Goals Cristiano hit 50 goals for Portugal before Messi did for Argentina. 5️⃣ 🏆 Champions League Winner Ronaldo won his first UCL with Manchester United in 2008. Messi got his first a year later with Barça. 6️⃣ 🌍 Played in 4 Top Leagues From England to Spain, Italy, and now Saudi Arabia - CR7’s done it all. Messi only made his first move away from Europe in 2023. 7️⃣ 👑 UCL All-Time Top Scorer Cristiano became the all-time top scorer in the Champions League before Messi and still holds the crown.

Dani Alves speaking 🗣️ on why he always passed to Messi: “In Barcelona, we had a clear identity, and we were instructed by Pep Guardiola to pass to Messi. To some extent, I felt like we were playing for Messi. Pep told us that once we got into the opposition's box, we should always look to pass to Messi. That's one of the reasons Messi scored so many goals. Playing with him was a little bit easier because he scored a lot of goals, but he wasn't good at defending.” 😂 “Messi is an incredible player with a lot of qualities. He is one of the best, if not the best, in the world.” 🐐

🗣️ Ángel Di María: “On my first birthday with Real Madrid, I had some friends over. Since I invited Marcelo and Pepe, who were always with Cristiano, I decided to invite him as well. I told Cristiano he was welcome to come to my place if he wanted. I didn’t think he would actually come, but he sent a message confirming he would. He came to my house and sat outside with my friends, who were drinking beer. Even though he doesn’t drink, he still sat with them. Honestly, I was very surprised by his presence. I didn’t expect it at all. On the pitch, he always won everything with that mentality, making it clear that he was number one. But off the pitch, he’s a completely different person—he’s truly an excellent human being.”
