As we approach the Jack Wyer Memorial Weekend, we have once again reached the end of another busy and successful year in our underage games calendar. As promised, we are delighted to issue the 2027 Games Calendar to all clubs and parents ahead of the October mid-term break, allowing everyone to plan for the year ahead. Following this weekend’s Minor Hurling Semi-Finals and Minor B Hurling Championship Final, we will have just three fixtures remaining to complete our 2026 games programme: •Minor B Football Championship Final Replay •Minor A Hurling Championship Final •U16 B Hurling Championship Final I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our clubs, club underage and fixture representatives, parents, coaches, supporters, referees and everyone who contributed to the successful running of our 2026 games programme. Your continued commitment, cooperation and dedication to our young players are greatly appreciated. Following our annual review, we look forward to another exciting and successful year in 2027, with only a few changes anticipated to our games programme from U8 to Minor. I would also strongly encourage all coaches to take advantage of Coach Education Month in November. This is an excellent opportunity to upskill, develop coaching knowledge and prepare for the 2027 season. Continued coach development is vital to providing the best possible experience for all our young players. Please find attached our 2027 Games Calendars.Championship groupings and fixtures will be issued in January, giving clubs plenty of time to prepare for the season ahead. Finally, thank you once again to everyone who has played a part in making 2026 another successful year for underage games in Offaly. We look forward to working together again in 2027. Le gach dea-ghuí, Carina Carroll On behalf of Coiste na nÓg Uíbh Fhailí
