Groves was excellent in the first fight. He had the speed, power and a brilliant jab to trouble Froch. Mistake was trying to take Froch out rather than sticking to his boxing. He faded as the fight wore on. More composure and patience! #earlystoppage

CRAWFORD STUNS CANELO WITH HISTORIC UNANIMOUS DECISION MASTERCLASS IN VEGAS On September 13, 2025, Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez met for the undisputed super middleweight titles at Allegiant Stadium. Crawford boxed brilliantly from the southpaw stance, using sharp jabs, precise counters, and superior footwork to control the early and middle rounds. Canelo Alvarez pressed with power punches and body work, landing hard shots that tested Crawford’s chin in several exchanges. The fight stayed competitive as both champions traded in the pocket, yet Crawford’s cleaner combinations and activity gradually built a lead. In the championship rounds, Terence Crawford maintained composure, outlanding Canelo Alvarez while weathering the Mexican’s pressure. Referee Thomas Taylor oversaw a clean twelve-round contest with no major infractions as the action remained high-level throughout. Judges scored it 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113 for Crawford, crowning him undisputed champion and sealing one of boxing’s greatest upsets.

Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 so he wouldn't be impeached and put on trial in the Senate. Three years later David Frost asked him whether a president can break the law, and he answered in one line: "When the president does it, that means that it is not illegal." It was May 1977. Nixon had been paid $600,000 plus a share of the profits to sit down with a British talk show host, the big networks wouldn't buy it, so Frost sold it station by station. More than 45 million Americans watched the first night, a record for a political interview. In the video below Frost asks about the Huston Plan, Nixon's 1970 program of break-ins and mail opening aimed at American citizens. Nixon sits with his chin on his hand for almost two seconds before he says it. Frost asks, "By definition?" Nixon says "Exactly, exactly," then explains that anyone who carries out a president's order can't be breaking the law, because otherwise "they're in an impossible position." His chief of staff, his top domestic adviser and his attorney general all went to prison over Watergate. Nixon never stood trial, because Gerald Ford had pardoned him on September 8, 1974, a month after he left the White House. Thirty years later Hollywood turned this exchange into Frost/Nixon, and it got five Oscar nominations. Was he wrong, or just 50 years early?

Dubois is in his physical prime and hits a lot harder than Ngannou in a #Boxing Ring. @Tyson_Fury even doesn’t even think that @DynamiteDubois would be an easy fight. Dubois is not a one trick pony like Wilder. Ngannou Dropped Fury 🥊
Dubois is easy work for Fury. Daniel is a quitter with no head movement. He's bread and butter for Fury
