The US rebounded faster than any other democratic country in the world, as a result of a variety of factors, including immigration. (The US Economy is now the Envy of the World with GDP twice that of other countries.
On immigration say yes it got out of control, but the reason for letting in millions was "the economy stupid" . The entire world suffered supply change disruption and the resulting post-Covid inflation.
