Waking up this morning, it finally hit me…
The #Saratoga🎪 meet is actually over.
For the last two months, it felt like Saratoga was going to run forever. Now that it’s over, July 3rd feels like it was yesterday.
Growing up in Saratoga, this was the first summer I truly appreciated just how special #TheSpa is.
And honestly? I feel stupid for missing out on so many summers before this.
Now we’ve got a LONG 10 months until the gates open again.
Until then, I guess my liver could use the break. 😂

I mean what a devastating move by Emphatic around the final turn during the #BreedersCup Juvenile Fillies.
Hat tip Tyler G on pulling that one off. What a monster!

.@jose93_ortiz just walked out of First Aid. He’s limping but he said “I’m okay.” He said he is not going to hospital. The horse he was riding stepped on his calf.
I didn’t want to win a single bet in the #BreedersCup undercard anyways.
Now it begins!
Give me whatever juice the #10 was on race 5 at Keeneland!

Did not get a chance to make this look pretty (on vacation)
But here are my picks for #BreedersCup Future Stars Friday.
Going to be a tough day, but lets create a bankroll for tomorrow!

Happy Breeders’ Cup Friday!
I’ll be dropping my full card of picks at 10:55am!

Big IF! The good news is the big 3 are still running. It’s setting up very well for Coach Pope if Hughes is a Cali fraud.
The more I think about it the more it’s crazy Emerging Market is dropping from the Travers (where he ran decent) to a $80k AOC.
If he loses send him to Parx 😕

Not sure if it was:
The altitude
Heading to my favorite place
Or just seeing the PPs / Thoros clearly
But I’m making money this weekend at the #BreedersCup

🚨 Gaudreau is out of the Juvenile with a fever. He was never beating Hughes, Coach Pope or American History for me, but he's one less horse taking early pace out of this race.
Field is down to 7 and the shape just changed. #BC26
The Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) field was reduced to seven Oct. 28 when Champagne Stakes (G1) runner-up Gaudreau was scratched from the $2 million race with a fever. Read more: go.bloodhorse.com/4isFHsh @BobEhalt #BC2026
Still thinking about @Drawingclearan1 “call” into @barshoelife ‘s Breeders’ Cup spaces last night.
I’ve never been sold so well on long shots from anyone. Dude has me hyped for some value Friday and Saturday!
Have to think this can't be good for Gulfstream and Santa Anita. The writing has been on the wall, but hopefully this isn't the final nail.
Maybe it will be a positive, and someone will step up and keep horse racing at both venues.

Started working on Friday's #BreedersCup card, and I've come to the conclusion Euros are just going to SMOKE me.
Any tips for handicapping Euros coming to race in the US?
