Remember when the biggest thing on the internet were NFTs? I used to receive hundreds of spam emails about people wanting to "buy my art" everyday. We were all going to be millionaires. That must have been 30 years ago... We were just kids back then. Oh nostalgia.

Working on a new creature. I wanted to paint something chonky, so I did! Let's see where this will take me.

I've seen so many great artists just stop and disappear. This is not a kind world for artists and it's completely reasonable to have to change your priorities, but I miss you all.

I've painted this piece 12 years ago. It's hard to say if I evolved much since then. I feel like I've learned more and got more confident, but there still are days when I can't draw a single line right. Welp, that's life! Gotta keep on painting!

I always have fun hearing people say my name. Most people pronounce it as Row-Burr-Toe which is close, but no cigar. The proper pronunciation is Ho-Bear-Toh. But this makes me wonder how much I'm butchering other people's names without knowing! Names are fun!
