If the owner of Art of Play is so interested in supporting the artists and artisans whose work he sells in his store, why didn’t he refer @kellyclarkson directly to the artist who created the $15,000 bird when she asked about it?

A Kelly Clarkson no la quisieron atender en una tienda en Brooklyn, pensaron que era una cualquiera que no tenía dinero 😂 y ya la tienda bajó de 5,0 en Google Maps a 3,6 en 30 minutos. Se les viene feo!
Pero más allá de este incidente; me hace pensar en lo normalizado que tienen algunas personas que trabajan en tiendas de subestimar y maltratar a las personas por cómo se ven.
Hace unos meses conté acá que, me gusta salir (cuando sé que voy de shopping a gastar heavy) vestida como una loca, precisamente para ver cómo será el trato que recibiré. El 99% de las ocasiones es el mismo tanto en Argentina como en otros países: no te quieren atender o lo hacen de mala gana.
No falla.
PS: imagínate tratar mal a cualquier mortal como yo que te puede dejar una buena comisión y propina pero PEOR aún imagínate maltratar a una ARTISTA como kelly jajaja
Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out 👎
