Sold a bunch of cards which is always nice but now that baseball season is over I’m struggling to find good inventory.
90-100 business days is 4-5 months.
But at least they seem to be making progress. I hope they have the capacity for reopening value tiers.
BREAKING: BIG changes happening at PSA 👀
Starting today, PSA is cutting estimated turnaround times by 20 business days for Standard (70–80 days) and Priority (50–60 days) grading submissions.
Tomorrow, PSA's $39.99 Value grading tier officially returns, with an estimated 90–100 business day turnaround and a $500 maximum insured value.
PSA also says its backlog has dropped to 7.2 million items as it works toward fully reopening all service levels, including Value Bulk.
Just looked through the Cosmic Chrome checklist. The Mars Attacks inserts with Ohtani, Acuña and some of the top rookies are pretty cool. Definitely not something I expected to see in a baseball product.
A restored T206 Wagner just sold for $1.98M. Almost exactly what it sold for last year. Pretty interesting to see a card that rare trade three times without much price movement.
Trying to move this PCA rookie auto refractor /499. Last sale was $1000 but this one has some upper right corner damage so won’t gem.
Would do $850 if anyone is interested. RTs always appreciated!
This is going to be an issue for a while. I expect lawsuits.

Oops!
Does the new @Topps Holiday football have a “Bill Ripken-esk” error on their hands? Dak Prescott’s wrist tape clearly reads “Fuck Cancer!” 👀
Chourio and Caminero playing against each other in the World Series is going to be interesting for the hobby. Both already have pretty strong card markets. Curious how much a ring moves the needle for either one.
I thought Topps Holiday was supposed to be a cheap, fun rip. A basic relic being 1 in 3,764 packs is pretty ridiculous for that kind of product.
CardsHQ literally does this exact thing.
I don’t like this…
@darrenrovell reports that PrizePicks was the buyer of the Flagg, Harper & Knueppel Debut Patches.
They paid $13 million for 3 cards… to possibly put them in repacks??
I would MUCH rather see them go into a high-end collection.
If they’re put in repacks, they’ll be resold again, and the cycle will continue.
These cards are really special. They should be treated as such.
CardsHQ advertises that it buys cards at 70% comps but Geoff is complaining about another company paying millions for three cards? Bro look in the mirror.
