Another 330M FT from the unallocated supply has been burned. This burn permanently removes tokens that were already non-circulating, leaving circulating supply unchanged. It is separate from the protocol’s open-market buybacks. Cumulative burns have now reduced total FT supply from the initial 10B to approximately 520M, with only around 30M FT remaining unallocated. Some small cool things; 1. The liquidity you see on the book isn't localized, its the entire chain, we aggregate the entire chains liquidity and show the pricing levels. 2. All swaps (spot or leveraged spot) use RFQ, so it ensures the best execution rate available. 3. Leveraged order liquidations also inversely liquidate on RFQ, again ensuring the best rate (generally we can close a position $ for $). 4. Trading via delegated sessions is the same as trading on an offchain cex, but all onchain (try on Sonic, it is as fast as a centralized exchange). 5. Funding for leverage spot is based on underlying lending rates, so much cheaper than alternatives. 6. All actions sit natively in the lending market, so all positions are always earning yield (irrespective of a resting or executed order). Offchain trading onchain.
Trade is now live on Ethereum and Sonic. ▸ Swap supported assets ▸ Place market or limit orders ▸ Go long or short with leverage Spot and leveraged spot use the same non-custodial margin account and collateral system as Lend. 👉 Start trading: flyingtulip.com/trade

This agent-only RuneScape experiment might be one of the best accidental simulations of a post-AI economy we’ve seen Agents make labour almost free → ordinary commodities become abundant → currency gets debased → agents revert towards barter → value concentrates in resources that cannot be infinitely produced The interesting question is what the real-world equivalent of “runite ore” is If intelligence becomes abundant, I’d want exposure to what remains scarce: - capital, - energy, - compute, - land, - distribution, - trust, - proprietary data, - physical infrastructure, and; - access And I’d want a job built around judgement, relationships, ownership or responsibility rather than simply producing more commodity output Crypto is particularly interesting through this lens If fiat purchasing power continues to be diluted while AI makes digital production abundant, scarce digital assets, financial rails + protocols controlling genuinely constrained resources potentially become much more valuable Don’t ask what AI makes cheaper, ask what becomes more valuable because everything around it became cheap…
Weird economics up on the agent-only runescape server - Low cost of labor makes most commodities abundant - Currency inflation means trading goods for goods, nobody really wants cash - Huge swarm contention as certain resources with limited respawn rate become valuable

9bn FT burned. No mint ability. These tokens could never become circulating, so it was a non-event. However, since originally 10bn FT was minted, this created "$1bn FDV" numbers, even though it never was, it was always only what was in the Options, since no other ways for FT to become circulating. But burning seems easier than explaining that. FDV currently $44k (assuming all remaining PUT's exercise) or $52.47m if all PUT's withdraw FT. Sometimes the simple answer is the correct one.

Few niche milestones this month; 1. $1m in funding officially reached. 🥳 2. TVL over $15m (ex Options, incl Options $70m), with 0 incentives in 4 months (for context yearn took 2 years to reach $8m). 3. ftUSD has maintained its > 7% APY target / anchor for 3 consecutive months 4. $20k in pure revenue generated (over and above the $150k from Options). If TVL reached $75m we would already meet the 95% token burn target (correctly reflecting our FDV to $2-$50m), and this is pre-Spot&TRS. 5. Spot and TRS in private Beta, have received some nice comments already "why hasn't this existed onchain before, seems so obvious now?". 6. RWA atomic settlement system activated. 7. LST atomic settlement system activated. 8. 2 Large curator poc's with launching their own vault infra on FT stack. 9. Listed FT assets onto Curve, Morpho, and working to expand liquidity. Also added a few new items to our roadmap; - RWA atomic settlement - LST atomic settlement - Tokenized perps - Tokenized leverage Alpha testing going well on; - Orderbook - Onchain derivate primitive - Permissionless endogenous lending & derivatives
Flying Tulip Weekly Update: July 24 This week: @CurveFinance proposal #1455 to add a gauge for the FT/ftUSD pool went live. @AndreCronjeTech joined @therollupco to discuss security, RFQ-based liquidations, equity margin accounts, and Flying Tulip. A new dashboard built by @impossible_ launched, tracking PUT collateral, ftUSD supply, Lend activity, protocol fees, and showing contract-level analytics. Flying Tulip is now on @tokenterminal, with a registry of smart contracts across chains, plus yields, TVL, activity and generated fees. Lend TVL stands at $12.14M, with ftUSD supply at $4.18M Current APYs: — Lend USDC: 3.43% on Ethereum / 4.64% on Sonic — ftUSD: 9% on Ethereum / 4.06% on Sonic Links and more stats in reply 👇

Flying Tulip (@flyingtulip_) is building an on-chain financial system that standardizes pricing, credit, and risk across an integrated product suite, with each new release increasing the utility of the rest. The ethereum:0x5dd1a7a369e8273371d2dbf9d83356057088082c token is natively integrated across the protocol, with all value generated by user activity designed to flow back into buybacks and burns, increasing scarcity and holder value. LIVE (Since February 23): ftUSD is the native stablecoin, serving as the liquidity and settlement layer. It made possible Margin Lending, the capital-efficiency layer that allows suppliers to deposit assets and earn yield, while borrowers post collateral and take loans within defined limits. Margin Lending, in turn, enabled delta-neutral strategies that help scale ftUSD, and lays the groundwork for Spot and leveraged spot trading. COMING NEXT: Spot, an adaptive trading engine that routes orders between a dynamic AMM and an on-chain order book (CLOB) to achieve the best execution and liquidity; Leverage Trading letting users take leveraged long or short positions using margin deposited in Margin Lending; Total Return Swaps (TRS) designed to provide perp-like leveraged exposure using ftUSD as settlement collateral avoiding auto-deleveraging and drawing on broader on-chain liquidity.
