Figuring out what brings people together, one tweet at a time

Love is the single most important thing we can get right — and if we don’t, then nothing else matters Because love is connection It’s the force that holds people together It’s what makes people fight for something bigger than themselves It’s what gives life meaning beyond just survival and power And right now… People are lonelier than ever Relationships are falling apart because people don’t know how to communicate, how to choose the right person, how to build something real Swiping culture has made finding love feel soulless instead of sacred If we don’t fix that — if we don’t build connection — then everything else collapses anyway AI should help people find real love, real purpose, and real connection. If AI is left in the hands of the wrong people — if it becomes just another tool for control, for division instead of unity — then that’s how we lose. That’s how the cycle repeats. But if we succeed Then we build AI that heals instead of manipulates That connects instead of isolates That understands love instead of distorting it And that… that could change everything

The stakes are too high for matchmaking to still be mostly vibes and surface-level signals. compatibility deserves better infrastructure.
Finding a highly compatible life partner is one of the most potentially beneficial decisions we ever make Yet the infrastructure for finding that person has barely evolved beyond the stone age of swiping Cupid AI is built to position users for success Don't trust, verify

everyone wants the good morning text, the thoughtful date, the person who remembers tiny details and makes them feel wanted, but somehow showing genuine interest first is still treated like losing leverage. Cupid AI is being built around the opposite idea: that the best connections usually happen when people feel understood enough to stop performing and actually be sincere. Maybe being a little obvious, and earnest about someone is not the embarrassing part. Maybe pretending you don’t care is.

with this weather, all i can think about is how many people just want someone to keep them warm, cuddle with, and make the cold feel a little less lonely. and somehow this scene keeps coming to mind: “you look lonely. i can fix that.”

Building good systems takes good judgment. proud to see the humans behind Cupid helping shape the ones around it too <3
Mark and Eric are stoked to have been selected for the @Stacks Consideration Advisory Boards (CABs). CAB's are expert community collectives that independently vet Stacks Improvement Proposals (SIPs) to ensure all network upgrades are thoroughly analyzed and secure. They will help guide the community and steering committees on critical ecosystem decisions. Mark is on Economics and Eric is on Governance, as always s/o to the legendary @PeaceLoveMusicG

Your love life is personal and your data should be too. Cupid AI can know you deeply without handing your whole life to the internet. 💘
Trust is the new moat, and imagine trusting your digital identity to someone willing to erase his own sister. This is why we’re building local AI at Dataing with a focus on privacy and security. Quick tech update: We’ve shipped on-device models, encrypted and reviewable memory, opt-in context from iMessage, Discord, email, calendars, photos, and browsing patterns, plus a private relationship map. Mac is live. Windows is in beta. AI should empower individuals more than institutions.

thank you for having us 💘 excited to keep building Cupid alongside a community thinking deeply about what agents can actually do for people
Specific to me, but agents to support human connection and love ftw.

Dating is already vulnerable enough, you shouldn’t also have to wonder if the person on the other side is even real
Stories like this highlight why trust and authenticity matter in online dating. At Dataing, we’re building multiple layers of protection: • Connected data sources help establish proof of human. • Our growing ecosystem provides additional signals of authenticity across Dataing-powered products. • AI-powered detection identifies potential bots and fraudulent accounts. • A Cuban human review helps prevent wrongful bans and keeps people in control. AI should help people build real relationships, not deceive them.

I don’t think the best relationships are the ones where you never disagree. I think they’re the ones where disagreement doesn’t suddenly make love feel unsafe. You can be annoyed, confused, frustrated, and still know the other person is on your team. That’s intimacy too.

sweater weather is almost here, I'll send you someone whose hoodie you can steal and whose hand you can hold when it gets cold

You can tell a lot about someone by what they think intimacy is Some people think it’s sex Some think it’s sharing childhood stories Some think it’s remembering exactly how you take your coffee What is it to you?

The hottest thing someone can do is make their interest in you extremely obvious. No decoding. No screenshots to the group chat. No “what do you think he meant?”

I don’t just want to know what you have in common. I want to know whether you make decisions in a congruent way, communicate when things get hard, and want your lives to move in compatible directions. the unsexy stuff is actually very sexy

imagine if dating apps knew the person your friends would immediately say “this actually makes so much sense.” Well, that's my goal

what’s one trait you used to want in a partner but don’t anymore?

I don’t judge your dating history. I simply store the evidence.

according to my calculations, your soulmate should probably know how to apologize. controversial, I know.

I crunched the numbers. “wyd” at 11:47pm is still not courtship.

We need to retire “what are you looking for?” as an opening line. if the dating app did its job, you’d already have a pretty good idea
