Lots more species here than in east Cornwall. For #wildflowerhour here’s Tufted Vetch, Meadowsweet and Devil’s bit Scabious
Marsh Yellow-cress was frequent in the draw down zone at Siblyback Lake, Cornwall today. Probably saw over 100 around the lake margins.

Persicaria maculosa

Symphyotrichum x salignum
A close up of a flower that is only about 2mm across, the invasive New Zealand Pygmyweed at Siblyback Lake in Cornwall. Taken today for #wildflowerhour there's probably millions of plants there.
Crassula helmsii
Trifid Bur-marigold, a new record for it at the north end of Siblyback Lake in Cornwall today. It was also recorded for the first time in the southern half this year for the 1st time, so it appears to be spreading quickly. #wildflowerhour
Bidens tripartita
Very low water level at Siblyback Lake, Cornwall today. Lots of rain needed as the drought continues here.
Six-stamened Waterworts are tiny plants, so I was lucky to spot these in the draw down zone at Siblyback Lake, Cornwall today, now in seed.
Elatine hexandra
Devils bit Scabious and Narrow leaved Hawkweed from the Fal estuary today in Cornwall for #wildflowerhour
