This is absolute gold. I never thought I’d be playing a game on my iPhone where my AirPods are my controller. apps.apple.com/us/app/ridepo…

1080p or 4K. I think one is too low resolution and the other takes up too much space. I’d love to see a 1440p option some day, just because I don’t buy the terabyte iPhones and because I like nicer quality video. I typically choose 1440p on my dash cameras too.

This year I am going to go with the black Apple Watch Ultra 3 because I didn’t bother to upgrade last year due to no new features. I’m going with the blue iPhone 17 Pro Max because orange is just too loud. And the AirPods Pro 3 because the new design and better ANC intrigues me.

Why don’t more AI chat apps like ChatGPT and Grok have CarPlay apps so that you can have passive conversations with them while driving, like having a passenger when driving alone? Seems to me like a missed opportunity to do real research while otherwise cooped up in a car.

Writing this post wasn’t easy. It feels like acknowledging the end of an era that I never wanted to acknowledge because of such a deep appreciation for jailbreaking iPhones for years. But as no jailbreak has been released in so long amid an upcoming update… it needs to be said.
