This reporting by @jjones9 and @TheAthletic is on some BS. If the NFL CMO is making calls and arranging treatment, they are complicit in the actions and them saying nothing was done wrong is a clear CONFLICT OF INTEREST!! I guess you all think we are stupid…🤬🤬🤬

Just some clarity on what the #Eagles can or can't say when it comes to their players' medical issues and whether Howie Roseman should have been made available to answer questions rather than Nick Sirianni:
For years during the Andy Reid era, many times when there was an injury or medical situation that extended beyond the norm, the team would provide head trainer Rick Burkholder to answer questions from reporters.
For instance, when Mike Patterson collapsed and suffered a seizure during training camp in 2011, Burkholder was front and center after Patterson was diagnosed with cerebral arteriovenous malformation.
When Reid left, the Eagles essentially decided they would keep most injury information private outside of NFL-sanctioned practice and status reports.
Most of the questions about Jalen Hurts and his blood clot(s) that were directed at Nick Sirianni on Monday, however, were about procedure (should he have played? traveled? flown?). Sirianni deferred to the team's medical staff.
Obviously, no one from the medical staff was made available. They don't report to Sirianni, but to Eagles GM Howie Roseman. Roseman doesn't typically speak with reporters on the record during the season, except after major trades (i.e. Cam Jurgens two weeks ago). But there is nothing preventing the team from having a news conference with Roseman over the handling of Hurts during the last few weeks.
Presumably, if Roseman -- who is responsible for all roster decisions and oversees all medical, training, strength and sports science departments -- and the team believe they handled Hurts appropriately, then they shouldn't be wary of answering specific questions about the topic for public consumption.
Folks stuck on the last Sirianni blunder, but what about the two 4th down calls…?!? He should have taken the points…AGAIN, and he should have punted the other one and gave the Jags a longer field, ESPECIALLY since the offense struggles. It’s STILL on the coach!!
The Rams scored touchdowns TWICE after BOTH Eagles failed 4th down conversions. That’s 14 points of momentum shift, all on the coach. He lost that game, end of debate!!

Really would love to hear the explanation from Eagles coaching for why they punted 4th and 1 down 13 from the 49 yard line on Monday, but went for 4th and 1.5 *up 10* with 16 minutes left in the game from their own 38 yard line.
Do not believe Eagles have anyone in the booth with an actual quantitative background. The long 1 distance, score margin, field position, weather conditions, and OL health issues would all push this towards punting.
Tush push with 1.5 yards has also not been good around league.
These decisions patterns show a limited grasp for the underlying models.
Eagles need to go on ahead and rip the bandaid off and start the second string with Mailata and just plan for the future…🤷🏾♂️
GO BIRDS!!! 🦅🦅🦅🙌🏾💪🏾
🚨 Fan Love 🚨

AJ got a high ankle sprain, probably 4-6 weeks and with their schedule, the Pats are COOKED…🤣😂🤣🤷🏾♂️
Like most Eagles fans, I’m disappointed we kept 4 QBs and subjected Uar and Weru to waivers, though it’s necessary for either of them to formally be designated as an IPP and not count against the 53. Howie structured their contracts where it’s likely they clear.
Stealing a sovereign nation’s natural resource isn’t a ‘deal’…this administration and their followers are ignorant af…sheesh!!
The US gotta cut Israel off like you do that family member that gets strung out on drugs and can’t get right. I swear Israel acts like a crackhead.
Seeing all these ‘Pro-Israel’ accounts talking about Hezbollah still firing at IDF forces and claiming it is a breach. There is no reason for Israel to be in Southern Lebanon unless they are trying to occupy and annex land. You tend to get shot where you aren’t supposed to be. 🤷🏾♂️
I wonder if this idiot realized that ‘IF’, and I do mean IF, the US is seizing oil tankers, the oil belongs to someone else and is already paid for…🤷🏾♂️

There is no world in which this is okay.
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito did not recuse himself from cases involving Trump’s Treasury Department while his own son was secretly working there as a political appointee and attorney.
His son's employment was hidden so thoroughly that his name appears nowhere on the Treasury Department website, he has no public resume, and his bar listings are outdated.
If Alito had recused himself, the secret would have come out. He didn’t recuse himself.
This is a clear conflict of interest, and the American people deserved to know about it.
The federal recusal standard is clear: a justice must step aside in any case where there is a reasonable basis to question whether he or she can be impartial. A justice ruling on cases involving the department where his son works fails that test. The Treasury Department sits at the center of some of the biggest legal fights of this administration, and challenges to Trump’s $1.776 billion January 6 slush fund could be headed to the Court next.
The Supreme Court is the only court in America with no binding code of conduct. That is completely unacceptable, and it has to change NOW.
Congress controls the Power of the Purse, and therefore the Court’s funding. If the Court will not adopt a binding code of conduct with real recusal review on their own, I support withholding their funding until they do.
