Breaking News Islamic terrorist who came to Britain on small boat and can't be deported over concerns that HIS life would be in danger is spotted shopping in the King's local Co-op A dangerous Islamic terrorist who was part of a ruthless Isis gang behind a string of horrific public executions was free to walk the streets near Windsor Castle after being allowed to stay in Britain on human rights grounds, SWR News can reveal. Iraqi Mohammed Yaseen, a hardened terrorist since he was just 16, was a member of the Al Qaeda group that beheaded Briton Ken Bigley, later joining Isis and a unit that carried out barbaric stonings, beheadings and mass executions. Yaseen – who a British court chillingly heard 'posed a danger to the whole of the UK' – was released from prison last week after serving just six months of a two-year sentence for illegally entering the country across the Channel on a small boat. He was put up in a bail hostel in Windsor, where the MoS last week observed him shopping in a Co-op close to Windsor Castle. He made the break for Britain after serving a near five-year prison term in Germany for membership of Isis. In a damning indictment of the UK's asylum system, Yaseen has reapplied to stay in this country, thereby halting Home Office attempts to deport him. The MoS understands that the Foreign Office has raised concerns he could face 'mistreatment' if he were returned to Iraq because of his terrorist past. Politicians reacted furiously last night over the terror threat Yaseen posed close to the royal palace, where King Charles will host a state banquet for the Sultan of Oman on Thursday. The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, George, 13, Charlotte, 11, and eight-year-old Louis, live nearby, at Forest Lodge on the Windsor Great Park, as do the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who reside at Bagshot Park. MPs are angry the taxpayer is footing the bill for the convicted terrorist's bid to stay in the UK. Legal experts say Yaseen will receive legal aid for his application and that if he were to fight it all the way to the European Court of Human Rights, the taxpayer could have to fork out £500,000. Other experts have told the MoS that since Yaseen will have to be kept in taxpayer-funded accommodation, be given food allowance and be monitored, the annual cost of keeping him in the UK could reach £85,000. Chris Philp MP, Shadow Home Secretary, told the MoS: 'We are paying through the nose to feed, clothe and house individuals who pose a clear threat. If Andy Burnham took this seriously, he would deport this man at once.' A court in Germany heard in 2020 that Yaseen was involved in bomb attacks that killed US troops. The Dusseldorf court also heard that he operated as a security guard for Isis during stonings, beheadings and at least two mass executions where the victims included children.

The more I read about what our SAS have faced in Afghanistan, the more questions I have about the decisions being made by those sitting comfortably in Whitehall. These are men who put their lives on the line for our country, facing dangers most of us will never experience. Yet the people making decisions about their lives and operations are far removed from the reality on the ground. There are serious questions to be asked about whether the rights of suspected jihadists have been prioritised at the expense of our own soldiers, and whether the men sent to fight for Britain have received the support and protection they deserve. It’s easy to sit behind a desk in London and judge decisions made in the most dangerous circumstances imaginable. It’s a very different story when you’re the one facing the threat. But here’s what I really want to know. Imagine those sitting behind their desks in Whitehall if it was their own children being sent off to war. Would they still be making those same decisions? Would they be so comfortable making decisions that put other people’s sons and daughters at risk if it were their own flesh and blood on the front line? And what message does this send to the next generation? What young person would look at the way our armed forces are being treated and feel confident that, if they signed up to serve their country, the people in power would stand behind them when it mattered most? We need brave men and women willing to serve in our armed forces. But we also need leadership that gives them the confidence that their service, sacrifice and lives will be respected. If the decisions made by Whitehall leave potential recruits questioning whether their own government will support them, we have a serious problem. You cannot expect people to risk their lives for Britain while undermining their confidence in the very institutions responsible for protecting them. Those pushing pens in Whitehall might never have to face the consequences of their decisions on a battlefield, but our soldiers do. And the next generation watching all of this will be making their own decisions about whether serving this country is worth the risk. 🇬🇧 OUR ARMED FORCES DESERVE BETTER.
