We next tested what populations of cells the three methods classified as ‘place cells’ in real two-photon data. Interestingly, the populations were completely independent, and their overlap was at (or even below) chance level. (4/7)

And here is a 3D projection of the vascular network in CA1: which is also organised, but with a less dense capillary network and a perfusion source which comes from below.
