Mark Hallet's illustrations for the Zoobooks series are phenomenal. Here's another rare Hallet T. rex, suspiciously croco-morphic, from the "Alligators and Crocodiles" ancestral section.
Colored pencil drawing of a prehistoric woman butchering an antelope she has hunted. The inspiration for this came from memories of the villagers hunting and butchering antelope in the first Age of Empires game.
Rough sketch in pencil of a woman with a spear fighting a raptor (or "hookfoot" as her people would call it due to the hooked talons on its feet). Undecided whether to render it with simple graphite or with colored pencil. #sketch #art #fantasy #blackwoman #dinosaur

Someone emailed me an offer to do a Zoom Q&A about one of my books for my book club. I gave them a time I would be available, and then they started asking me for a "contribution". Needless to say, that was when I high-tailed out of that conversation.

I normally stay away from "Hellaverse redesign" content, given that a lot of it seems to be rooted in this crusade of forced hate against the creator. But I do think Adam and Lilith could be redesigned to better resemble the actual first human beings (both arts are mine).
Also, I prefer the hairstyle Alastor had as a human than the one his Sinner form has. It looks more like something a man of African-American ancestry would have worn back in his time on Earth.
In my experience, the topic has always attracted racialist wackos. aDNA and population genetics are to the current generation of racist losers what physical anthropology was to the earlier ones. And I say that as someone who finds those fields interesting.
TBH, even if he really was guilty of what he was accused of, the racist witch hunt was undeserved, and he shouldn't have felt compelled to take his whole life. It's a tragic situation all around.
Portrait of Torosaurus alongside a (proto-)Heliconia plant. I found out after doodling this that Heliconia is thought to date back to the Eocene, but who knows, maybe they had ancestors in the Late Cretaceous when Torosaurus was around. #dinosaur #prehistoric #paleoart #art
