Good read, and puts my mind at ease in the perspective as a Titans fan.
Simmons was far and away their best player, but they clearly need to be thinking long term and dealing Jeff now, for this haul, accomplishes that
And then I've got a second column on the Jeffery Simmons trade. Teams trading two first-round picks for established veterans in the modern era are batting about 25%. Why haven't those trades lived up to expectations? And can Simmons be the exception?

I'm now in the market for a new favorite Titan**
**new team possibly by 2028
Blockbuster! The Titans are trading All-Pro DT Jeff Simmons to the Bears, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
I drove home tonight listening to Boog Sciambi on ESPN Radio. I could "see" everything happening in Game 5 because of his call
Had I simply listened to the TV call (dangerous driving BTW), I would've been lost as to what was happening, and that's NOT a shot at Joe & John
@DavidPSamson says MLB no longer needs radio: "We don't need baseball on radio anymore." The former Marlins president predicts on Nothing Personal that "radio will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster." @JohnMamola has more. #MLB

To better understand Bob Uecker’s significance to Brewers baseball, he called both Hank Aaron’s last MLB home run and Jackson Churio’s first.

Cam Ward was the 4th highest graded QB in Week 7 so far.
He’s currently the 20th ranked QB on the season among QBs with 100 or more drop backs.
Is Cam being overhated?
Titans Top 5 Offensive Grades in Week 7 per @PFF:
Pollard - 84.3
Ward - 76.9
Latham - 76.0
Skoronski - 72.4
Ayomanor - 68.0
Of Note:
Tate - 57.0(10/16)
Robinson - 48.4(15)
Mafi - 47.8(16)
Joe is absolutely right. This is a terrible call and if the goal of replays/challenges/ABS is to get things right, then check swings definitely fall in that category
