“did you see this twee—“ let me stop you there. I have seen every tweet. if it is posted I have read it. I am refreshing and I am reading and I am refreshing and I am going to do this for nineteen hours straight because if I miss something it will have a direct electoral effect
Tagging myself early on this Election Day as Haley Stevens’s ridiculously large hat (Polin Twitter if any of you know what a crosstab is, my DMs are open)
This week: AO3 still down, husband maybe has diverticulitis???, Election Day, and I have 6 people coming to stay this weekend who are either Elder Millennials or an itsy baby for a stressful football game. DOING MY BEST (she cries as she taps out a little story on her phone)

My little tech/bank security background is screaming *not* to follow the procedure mentioned. AO3 doesn’t publicize your email, therefore this site shouldn’t know which email is linked to your account. Highly possible this is a scam to hack AO3 accounts while they’re down!

please DO NOT give these people the e-mail associated with your ao3 accounts. since this is monetized and directly referencing them, it’s more likely that ao3 and their legal team themselves can work on a takedown request, or at least provide instructions on how to do it safely. DO NOT DOXX YOURSELF TO AN AI SLOP SITE.

In big Year of Our Lord 2026, Netflix is still rolling out The Carriage Scene? Not kidding, I need to know the actual watch numbers for it. Also, yes, I think we can all agree that Colin is, in fact, doing magic.

The problem with all Pride and Prejudice adaptations is that Colin Firth was quite possibly the most attractive man on the planet as Mr. Darcy.
I occasionally waybackmachine Dawson’s Creek fic I wrote on my geocities site when I was 13, and God, I love that little sweet nerd so much I could never delete her.
Well stated!! And I don’t know how else to say this: his hair is still styled outta this world, but the hair itself is more sincere than it was when he was peacocking. Also don’t tell me that coat was just casually thrown on; he knew its power.
I like how we know Pen is angry at Colin after the Danbury ball, but when he comes to the garden looking penitent and the most gorgeous he’s ever been, she looks at him and is like, ‘alriiight, I guess he can stay’
I’d do the same 😁 #polin

People saying AO3 readers are unemployed is so funny when the reality is most of us are using AO3 specifically to cope with the tragedy of being employed
From the final chapter of Everything But
Okay fellow Polin writers, can you share snippets from upcoming wips you're really excited about so we can head into the weekend with good vibes and things to look forward to? ♥️ Mine is from the epilogue of TMNYHD 🥺
#polinfics
Fam what we gonna do 😭 Do I need to get a squarespace to throw together a Polin fic website to do this old school??? Elder Millennial Polins, is this our moment to dust off the geocities knowledge of yore??? 2026, you are TESTING me.
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
#WIPWednesday Everything But update: final chapter is under construction, but my job has me locked in for at least 10 hours a day every workday, so it’s slow. I recently wrote the Rae/Dunwoody resolution, and I literally twirled my hair and giggled! May a new job greet me soon 😭
#WIPWednesay Part of my draft for @Fallin4Polin Trying my best to get this done ASAP. I think the story will be called “Harvest,” but don’t hold my to that 💁♀️
