Well said. No-one is born in the ‘wrong body’ what utter bollocks. The NHS has gone rogue with trans zealots in charge. It must be purged of these dangerous people.
The ingredients for a safeguarding and medical scandal:
A group who are ideologically committed to a treatment model irrespective of the evidence
+
A climate of fear in which concerns are not just dismissed but attract accusations of transphobia
+
Institutions & individuals focused on protecting their own reputation rather than admitting to mistakes
Cases such as GIDS and now WellBN will continue to occur until these issues are addressed. And the problems in gender medicine extend far beyond paediatric services: adults deserve safe and effective care just as much as children.

This proposed bill could see concerned parents face police investigation or even prison for refusing to call their child by a new name. Teachers could be hauled into family court for not using preferred pronouns. Doctors and therapists risk prosecution simply for asking questions instead of immediately affirming a sudden cross-sex identity. That is the reality of the draft Conversion Practices Bill now under scrutiny in Parliament.
This is not the plot of a dystopian novel or a grim history lesson about authoritarian regimes of the past. It is happening right now in Britain.

(🧵) It's long been baffling to me why there has been ANY suggestion at all that NHS England or NHS Sussex only knew of concerns about the prescribing of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones by Dr Sam Hall in 2024. It's demonstrably false.
As presented at the employment tribunal Redvers Vs NHS Sussex today, former Sussex CEO Adam Doyle was personally told about a "disabled, vulnerable child" who was 16 year old, receiving hormones without the parents' knowledge in 2023. This is the same child that I call "Charlotte" in my book, Time to Think. To the best of my knowledge, this was the first time the WellBN GP practice/Dr Hall's prescribing practices were reported publicly.

I was just forcefully removed from a @ThornsFC game for the crime of wearing an @xx_xyathletics t-shirt. I am in shock. We peacefully wore our shirts. We were assaulted by fans. Then WE were forced to leave – with FORCE by stadium security. I am utterly in shock.

Lord Forst is absolutely correct. Any articulation of the fact biological sex exists and “gender identity” is a faith concept would become a risky thing to say if the Conversion Practices bill becomes law.

Any such conversations could result in being criminalised and 5 years in prison.
