The top 5 things Tesla announced: Unsupervised FSD for customer cars, Cybercab in Dallas, FSD v15, Europe approval timing and Optimus with AI5.

I had to replace my right fender camera on the truck and still have the old version on the left. Lets see how they compare for keeping clear in the Canadian winter.

Tree was suddenly closer than it appeared. Mirror was folded. I had a few inches. Left wheel ran up on an old stump at the precise location to ram my mirror into the tree. Shattered the quarter pane. Mirror somehow still working. Was still a hella fun offroading with @Karanx_

Made a quick tailgate step for my new tailgate track. I don't mind being the Red Green of the community.

Another lake another thought. As you get fatigued you tend to standup and lock your knees. You are more on your heels. Keep on your toes if you want to be able to react to change quickly.

5 days - 5 lakes A trumpeter swan takes flight and scolds me. A painted turtle raises for a breath and skuttles back to the safety of the deep as I loom over it. No matter how quiet and stealthy you glide through your environment your mere presence can be disruptive.

4) The journey will be over soon enough. Don't forget to stop and reflect on the beauty around you. Just don't overdo it. see 2).

2) When the water turns rough it can be hard to keep your balance when you stop paddling. Set a course and push through the waves rather than letting them push you around. Even the wrong direction is better than drifting. You can always course correct.

1) Variety is the spice of life. Too often we get into deep comfortable ruts and often need to shake things up or we stagnate. My neighbours asked me why they hadn't seen me out on my paddleboard much. I had to think about it. Our lake was too familiar and safe. So 4 in 4.

Today I met a young Tesla engineer on leave for the summer from Giga Texas, Austin. His latest assignment was the Cyber Cab battery after working endlessly on the Cyber Truck battery. He confirmed a lot of things that we have been discussing. He gave me his contact info.

Dear @MarkJCarney First off, I just want to say thanks. The world has thrown itself into disarray, but Canada can rely on you to stay levelheaded, and exemplify all that it is to be Canadian on the world stage. What I really want to say, though, is that you’re absolutely right to stand up to Trump. There is a game being played, and any scholar who looks at the past of this “businessman” can see the same blueprint he has always followed: he doesn’t know shit, but he talks over the people who do, threatens, cajoles, and prattles on until people will literally do what he says just to shut him up. That’s all this is. I don’t care anymore. If the US wants to call it Lake America, let them. If they want to keep going on about 51 states, let them. They can insult, jeer, rail, blame, and generalize us… let them. It’s all the posturing of a witless bully, and everyone knows it. All that America will have left when he’s gone is decades of hardship… and that’s the real tragedy. He can waste his energy and taxpayers money waging futile wars of ineloquent words and fruitless actions, but the truth remains the same: he will never have our respect, he will never have Lake Ontario, he will never have Canada, he will never have The Gulf of Mexico, he will never have Greenland, and he will never have the United States of America. All he will have is the title of “The worst President in US History” and he’ll take that to his grave. Thank you for being our first line of defence, and our last spoken word in solidarity - you’re doing a difficult job in an incredible way. Keep your stick on the ice.

It is genuinely fascinating watching people who claim to be Canadian sit in their homes in the US and cheer for "Canada's downfall". Feel free to get up off your high horse anytime. I'll be pouring in my blood, sweat, and tears to make this a better country.

Another abrupt FSD swerve today. Approaching an intersection with right of way (no stop). Another pickup wasn't stopping at the stop sign on my right. FSD performed hard brake and swerved into the empty lane. The other truck stopped about a foot into the intersection.

Yesterday my truck was driving me on my twisty rolling backwoods road in Sloth mode, at about 60 kph, when it topped a steep hill and we met a pickup that was well over the centerline. FSD swerved hard to avoid the collision before I realized why. Thankyou FSD.
