It's always a pleasure to talk shop with @EmilyWolfeMusic! One of the best out there. An honor to have her on. 🙏🏼🤘🏼

The Temptations, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, guitar pedals & Diet Coke. For singer, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Emily Wolfe, these childhood obsessions helped shape her musical DNA. Four choices. Four pieces of childhood. One room that tells Emily's story. 🎧

Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Grape-Nuts? Which one are you pouring a bowl of? 🥣
The Room We Wanted 🚪@TheRoomWeWantedOct 22
What was your goto vacation cereal? For Alex and Austin Ward of Hembree, Cinnamon Toast Crunch wasn't an everyday cereal... it was the kind of cereal you had to make a case for, maybe do a few extra chores for, and it was a vacation cereal. #Hembree #CinnamonToastCrunch

On a personal note, this new project has brought me three nights of joy during a week that's otherwise one of the hardest of the year for me and my family.

I'm incredibly grateful to the guests who've been so open to this new concept, to Jason for putting up with me more than anyone should be subjected to, and to everyone who's taken the time to check out what we're doing so far. 🙏🏼 And to think, we're just getting started...

If this show can create a little space to embrace shared memories, enjoy genuine conversations and a few laughs, and remind us of the many things we have in common, then it's already a huge success in my eyes.

Is it nostalgic? Absolutely. I'd be lying if I said otherwise. But the more episodes we record and conversations we have, the more I realize it's about something bigger than the things we loved growing up.

We all come from different backgrounds, have different life experiences, and see the world in our own ways. But sometimes, believe it or not, the things that connect us are a lot closer than we think.

It's about the stories behind them, the memories we share around them (even with people we've never met), and the ways those things become part of who we are, many years later.

🧵 This week, we recorded three new episodes of @TheRoomWeWanted. What started as an episode idea for MWM has quickly become something much bigger. A celebration of the things we have in common, the things that bring us joy, and the experiences that help shape who we become.

Any other GoldenEye fans on here?

For Alex & Austin Ward of Hembree it was eight kids. One tiny bedroom. Hours of GoldenEye every day. At first, their parents wanted them outside. Eventually, they realized playing GoldenEye was probably the better option. Hear the rest of the story on The Room We Wanted. 🚪
