To be clear: Deuteragonist doesn't mean rivalry I don't want sarada as a rival. Older text positioned her as deuteragonist- accomplice. I'm clearly referring to the og concept, where Naruto/Sasuke's offspring become the rival's bearer of will. It's a conclusion concept.

This sequel's fault btw. She had hope before ts. She was positioned as parallel mc in gaiden/movie era closing hinted Boruto/sarada inherited the torch of their father's rivals Her concept went down the drain when sequel was decided. Kawaki was introduced for easy shonen trope

Is it a hot take to say Sarada isn’t even all THAT either. Yes she’s still good and better by a considerable margin than Naruto female characters but I wouldn’t say she’s something entirely amazing either. Just shows how badly most female characters are handled in shonen

Another hilarious thing is how people act like Sasuke's plan was realistic. He thought he was going to make everything good by being everything bad. With common sense it falls apart & in the story's logic it falls apart. Kaguya, Madara, Danzo all showed this couldn't work.

similar to how the raikages uses lightning to amp their physical stats sasuke also does it the same way but to a much higher level, that’s why he can hang with naruto and otsutsuki level opponents, and before that he has always been super fast naturally

Sasuke's always been more agile than Naruto. It's his fighting style + he uses his lightning chakra to stimulate his nervous system to supercharge his physical speed
