We do not have to agree with nor respect every aspect and element of another persons character in order to engage in productive dialogue.

Why is it ‘cancelled’ in the U.K. but ‘canceled’ in the U.S.? Because we gave them that L in 1776.

I’m convinced Americans are starving for nuance. We’re tired of the "political hack" clashing that solves nothing and only serves the Division Industrial Complex. People want to talk about what actually benefits their lives and their communities—not just party-line talking points divorced from how most people talk. (h/t @Elex_Michaelson & @CNN @CNNTheStoryIs)

I am on a side. It's the side of conversation, dialogue, and debate. @ChrisCuomo and I had a great conversation about @BridgeUSA_ and the new counterculture that's building on america's college campuses. youtube.com/watch?v=rp9FCpKe…

“That young man. I forgive him.”- Erika Kirk. The Right and Left will have missed the biggest takeaway from the memorial today as they continue to polarize the country. The biggest takeaway is to forgive so we can move beyond the deepest divides to advance America 🇺🇸 #CharlieKirk

Together, we can define for this country what courageous citizenship means—modeling a constructive civic response that rebuilds trust and puts us on a path toward solving problems together. Now is the time. Our country depends on it.

In a rare show of unity, the Young Democrats of Connecticut and Connecticut Young Republicans issued a joint statement offering prayers for Charlie Kirk’s family and condemning political violence. This is the way.

It makes me sad how Americans are being manipulated into hating each other.

It's easy to think that everything is terrible and nothing can change when you only listen to misrepresentations of the other side. But get outside your bubble and actually engage and you'll likely find that most people are normal and want more dialogue!

Extreme polarization and tribalism kills. We have to chart a new path. The real divide is not right or left. It’s between people that are open-minded and closed-minded.

Civil discourse isn’t about agreeing on everything—it’s about listening to and respecting your opponents.
