IT IS SNOWING ❄️ Snow has touched down in Big Cottonwood Canyon and it looks like more is inbounds tomorrow. Due to the weather we will continue to be closed today for mountain biking, disc golf and scenic lift rides.
Unfortunately due to the weather we are staying closed today. Not Oktoberfest along with the Big Cottonwood Canyon Flea Market are also canceled for today. We plan to try to open the lifts tomorrow (10/11) depending on weather. Thank you for your patience at this time.

Our lifts are closed today due to weather 🌧️It’s a very rainy day up here in Big Cottonwood Canyon so we made the decision to close the lifts today. Thank you all for your patience and we can’t wait to see you up here again tomorrow.
Starting during the 2026/2027 winter season we will be open for night riding on Sunday nights! Night riding will now be Wed-Mon. We will be closed Tues nights for routine maintenance. We can’t wait to enjoy Sunday nights with you this coming season 🏔️✨

Early start to the preseason ❄️ Just kidding, but it did snow near the top of the mountain today. If you’re coming up today the sun should be coming out in a bit, but make sure to grab some warm clothes to enjoy the Majestic lift, incredible bbq, live music & the BCC Flea Market.
Majestic is up and running for the summer ⛰️ Majestic is runs 12-8pm Fri and 10am-5pm Sat/Sun. Don’t miss out on this view and everything else that comes with it!
Crest 6 will be joining Majestic in a few weeks until then enjoy mtn biking, disc golf & scenic views from Majestic.
Thank you all for making it a great season at the top of BCC. The basis for Brighton is our community and you all showed up. Whether you rode 1 day or 100 days, we hope you felt welcomed and remember the fun times you had. We’ll see you all next season for our 90th year 💛💙❤️
WE’RE EXTENDING THE SEASON UNTIL MAY 10TH ‼️ All of you reached out and let us know you want more season up here at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon and we’re here for it. We will be open 10am-3pm with Crest 6 and Explorer during the week along with Majestic on weekends.
