All you people bitching about Carlo trade don’t realize how close to the Cup Carlo and Laughton trades brought us. We had Florida on the ropes before Rielly gave away game 7. No Rielly on the ice and we’re cruising to the Finals! No Carlo to babysit Rielly, Sens take us out.

I’m also open to and more likely the realistic approach is “take our bad D for your bad D” and hope a change of scenery is effective. They are so tight against the cap, it’s money in - money out. Save the big move till the offseason

Maybe Hiller and Chayka figured it out. Maybe it was the right thing to do to let Matthews bring in his friends. Maybe Rielly can play soft 3rd pairing minutes and not cost us games on nightly basis. Maybe there is hope. I’m starting to #beLeaf! #passionneversleeps 15/15
