In order to battle insomnia, I had AI create "Read the News to Me". It gathers hundreds of RSS feeds that it turns into a robotic lullabye to make me snore. Best use case of AI I've found so far.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and the news is: the first full-scale O’Neill cylinders are spinning up in Earth orbit. Not a concept. Not a render. Actual multi-kilometer habitats, counter-rotating pairs, with lakes, forests, towns, and weather inside. Sunlight streaming through the window bands. 1g under your feet from pure rotation. The opposite landscape curving overhead like a second world. We cured aging and disease. Earth got full. So we built new land out of lunar and asteroid material. And it looks like this. Would you move? Because I would. Tomorrow. The future isn’t coming. It’s already under construction.

Woke up this morning to the sound of a trash truck slamming a container immediately followed by a bunch of joyful, excited screams. I don't know why they were running a rollercoaster at 5:55am, but it sure did give me a good laugh.

Discussed AI with a traditional member of the media today and all I could glean from it was that they peddle in fear. I ended the conversation with the statement that I refuse to let fear control my thoughts and actions. Calm=fun
