People have lots of bad moments .. I think this guy has been punished enough and now it’s just pure bullying. Even if he invites criticism the level amped at @PirateSoftware is beyond reasonable / proportional response. I don’t agree with his opinions on most situations but I don’t think he’s that bad. Excess hubris sure could definitely do with some mentoring on humility but the level of hate Not sure what people want next .. suicide? Breakdown? Like when does the kicks hit their fill. All that people are doing now is kicking a sick puppy ..

My take on the stop killing games initiative as a game dev is that this hurts indie devs more then AAA devs Something I noticed while reading the faq, their take on online only games that weren't designed to have player hosted servers is simply just 🧵

Patch to add in support for player hosted servers, what does this mean? Am I gonna get in legal trouble becouse my games files weren't backed up? And also, none of this is an issue for the AAA dev, who can do this all easily This all just seems not specific enough to justify

I should probably specify before people get the wrong idea that i agree with 90% of stop killing games, I just have an issue with their take on private servers for online games.
