I'm a big fan of people immediately interpreting anything I say as rude or negative. I swear I'm a nice person, guys, it's just the autism.
It always fascinates me to look at work in progress worldgen. I doubt this area is anywhere close to its final state, given how open and... gravity defying it is, but it's still really cool to look at.
I wonder if any of the Hytale worldgen devs have accidentally made something really cool and just decided to save it for later as an intended feature in a future location.
(Avatar on 2nd image for a sense of scale, You might have to zoom in though, lol)
Completely rational and sane Hytale lore theory:
There is, and has only ever been one Klops. Whenever you think you've seen more than one Klops, it's just the exact same guy. He's an interdimensional con artist, travelling the Alterverses at will, not bound by the same restrictions as Avatars.
He brings his house with him wherever he goes. If you think you've seen two Klops houses in the same world, no you haven't. He simply moved it. If you think you've seen two separate Klops that look completely different, no you haven't. That's just what he wants you to think. If you've killed him, no you haven't. He'll just come right back.
In fact, Klops isn't even his species, it's his name. His full legal name is Klops H. Merchant, and his intentions are beyond our understanding.

Looks like you enjoyed my last post, so alright, let's dig a little deeper! #Hytale
Yesterday, I said I'd present counterarguments to the claim that the Orbis Officers were not reworked into Guardians. I'll cover that below, along with a few bonus discoveries about Chapter 1.
Before we get into all of that, I want to draw your attention to a section of Hytale's blog post published on January 8, 2026 — just five days before Early Access launched. Specifically, the final paragraph:
"Only when you - the players - step into the Echoes of Orbis for the first time, can we finally and truly say that Hytale's lore has crystallized into canon."
To clarify, the worlds we're currently playing in are the Echoes of Orbis, not Orbis itself — with the exception of Chapter 1 (The Deepworks) and the Fragment Key.
This means that what we see today, and what we saw when Early Access launched on January 13, 2026, is canon. I'll leave a link to the blog post at the very end.
Let's start with the Orbis Officer.
The paragraph we're interested in from that blog post is:
"This draft also retains many of the major aspects of the lore the community has come to love over the years - characters such as Gaia and Varyn are still very much a part of our canon, and Tessa and Kyros are coming back as well."
This officially confirms that Tessa and Kyros will return to the game, which makes me even more confident in the theory about Kyros I shared in my previous post.
But there's something else I want to focus on here: the insignias on the armor and the emblem on the shield. They're all connected to Gaia.
And here's why this is particularly interesting right now.
In Update 7, the model of the Statue of an Ancient Guardian was changed — specifically, the emblem on its shield. Gaia's symbol was replaced with the Burnt symbol (or the Bearer of Fire symbol, or simply the symbol of Fire).
This was done intentionally and ahead of time to prevent us from confusing the Guardian with the Orbis Officer in the future.
The Guardians originate from the Burnt faction, while the Orbis Officer is connected to Gaia, Varyn, and Orbis as a whole.
Now, let's move on to some interesting discoveries about Chapter 1!
Development of Chapter 1 continued right up until the launch of Early Access. I'm attaching concept art from the same January 8 blog post, featuring goblins.
We can see early goblin concept art, but two things stand out to me.
The first is the pink color scheme we're familiar with today.
The second is... cheese.
Yes, that's right. CHEESE. 🧀
Has anyone taken a closer look at the Gobliterator Core?
Another interesting detail is that the Goblin Flamethrower was added to Creative Mode in Update 3, more than six months before Chapter 1 launched.
In other words, this was a VERY early hint at Chapter 1!
And considering all of this, I have a question for @Simon_Hypixel
Alongside the Goblin Duke, will we also get to meet the street-artist Goblin who decorated The Deepworks so beautifully with his graffiti?
I'm attaching a link to Simon's reply about the Goblin Duke, and I've also highlighted the E04 goblin concept art.

Hey, so EVERY Hytale player needs to watch this video. I’m tired of people knowing nothing about what’s going on in the game. This is now required literature.

If the Hytale team ever needs someone well-versed in the Game's lore, and is capable of doing a whole lot of writing, give your boy a call.
