NYCACC killed Little Prince a few minutes ago😭💔 this Gorgeous eight year old boy was an NYCACC #LongStay and he was visually impaired…he was surrendered because his human was evicted…another canine victim of the housing crisis in this city…he was not happy when he first got there but he got better with staff…I don’t know why they had to end his life…he has to be “the only” the toughest pup to rehome…oh beautiful sweetheart your pic with that blue stuffie will haunt me forever…I’m so sorry they stole your shine ✨ Humans failed you at every turn….

What a disgrace. Best Friends is no friend of Pibbles….
There are 290 dogs missing. Ashley of the Pittie Project PNW and many others who did not show up at her arraignment are responsible. Imagine sending dogs now disappeared and dead and not showing up at her first court appearance. @bestfriends network partners now deleted of course

NYCACC killed Grayson today…this beautiful 7️⃣ month old puppy was surrendered on September 30 and I did his first post four days later…he was not on the At Risk TBK list and went straight to Kill Command three days ago…that process is a Silent Kill….I know many of us loved and fought for this puppy, but they wouldn’t allow him to be re-homed either by rescue or adoption…they Silently Kill when an incident occurs at the pound…a bite or attack…something that management feels is too much of a liability…it really hurts ones heart to think that a beautiful seven month old puppy has no chance, even on a kill command list…
Grayson lived with children and other dogs in his home…then he was surrendered to the pound…maybe his grief and betrayal was so intense, I can’t say other than this is a fucked up world when be kill seven month old puppies regardless of their condition….
When I did his first post, I remember thinking that he looked so utterly lost, his sadness was like a tidal wave and his tiny pout pulled at my heart…
Oh sweetheart I’m so sorry they stole your shine ✨ those beautiful eyes staring back at me right now while I write this….
