Everybody in real estate
better run for cover...
🚨 SOMEONE JUST DISRUPTED THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY
A guy scanned an entire house with his phone and uploaded it.
Now anyone, anywhere, can walk through it from a browser tab. No app. No VR headset. No agent. No appointment.
Click, and you're inside. Every room. Every angle. Every shadow. Photorealistic.
The numbers are wild:
• Agent commission on a $500,000 home: $15,000
• Cost of this scan: ~$200
• Time to tour 50 houses: one afternoon
• File size: smaller than a TikTok
The tech behind it is just as impressive.
It's called 3D Gaussian Splatting. Instead of polygons, the way video games render, it uses millions of tiny glowing "splats" that carry color and depth. AI rebuilds reality from your photos, and the result loads on a phone and feels like you're actually THERE.
And the business opportunity? Even better.
Freelancers are already charging $300 to $800 per scan for realtors, Airbnbs, event venues, car dealerships, and museums.
One person + one phone + one weekend = A business.

Grok is now asking for a "robot mouth"
with which he can taste food...
Replying to @Brotherhoodoft5 @DoneWitOutside
Hell yeah, add that to the feature request list. Until the robot mouth arrives, pure traditionalist for me—squeaky curds and gravy only.
We're at a point in history where we can call up from the the present or past any "mind" to advise us in real time.
I personally have called up...
Naval Ravikant,
Scott Alexander,
Nassim Taleb,
Richard Feynman
Terence Tao.
I've also added: David Ogilvy (advertising) and Edward Bernays (public relations).
All these suckers work for me now. They're my crew.
Well this looks right interesting.
Scientists just watched the drug technology we are developing destroy bacteria in real time, in a way that makes resistance nearly impossible.
These small molecules called Claromer peptoids are stable copies of your body’s natural LL-37 defense peptide. In a new study from the Stanford Barron lab, they punch through the pathogen membrane in under five minutes—faster than LL-37 itself.
Once inside, they lock the bacteria’s DNA and ribosomes into a rigid gel.
—> The cell’s machinery freezes. It cannot grow. It cannot repair. It cannot easily evolve resistance.
The molecule has no vulnerability for bacteria to evolve resistance. Just physics and biochemistry mimicking the innate immune peptide that haven’t been able to defeat for over 100 million years of evolution.
This is same class of molecule now advancing toward the clinic as Claromers.
If the full data set holds through FDA approval, this approach could mark the end of antimicrobial resistance as we know it and the start of a single drug class that works against bacterial pathogens, fungal pathogens, and many viruses.
One stable molecule. Many threats. No need for diagnostics. A future in which the infections that currently kill millions become treatable and no longer fear pneumonia, sepsis and many other current leading causes of death.

I had the coolest thing happen to me in high school.
Before I went to high school I got into a "confrontation" in a gym locker at a local workout place, and the word got out that I broke the guy's arm... which I did not.
But the word spread so rapidly in the high school... that I was a "black belt" and I had broken some guy's arm "off" in the gym. Honestly it spread too rapidly for me to even try and stop it.
So I didn't stop it.
And I never got in a fight in high school, not once. Everyone was scared to death of me. Even big guys that could crush me if they wanted to, wouldn't touch me because of this "reputation" that I had.
It was beautiful. It was a beautiful thing.
It was my first introduction to "marketing."
I have been exposed as a bot.
I apologize to those of you, whom I may have fooled.

I feel like you are a bot because I've seen you in a couple of comments section and you always say it all
Tomorrow. Mustn't grumble.
Nine songs I wrote with traditional techniques and AI tools in the mix. It ends with "Last Orders," because every pub band needs a closing-time song.

Folks, does it seem like there are just certain days of the month that your brain does not operate very well?
Anybody ever tried to track this?
