This is actually a good thing.
Webp is the superior file type, smaller file size, generally better quality — It's a web standard.
Webp handles transparency just like a png, but can also do animation like a gif. Scryfall is doing the right thing here.
On January 1st, 2027, @Scryfall will transition to providing only WebP for most of their images. More information available here for developers:

PNG version isn't going away for content creators, but you won't be able to hotlink the PNGs anymore. #mtg

Hot take: $325M/10 years was indeed way too much to give a pitcher who had never held an MLB-sized baseball.
Unless your owner happens to run a private equity business that leverages a network of undisclosed related-party loans to turn his insurance empire into a personal cash machine for his sports assets.
Dodgers fans think they got Yamamoto because their front office is smarter than everyone else (they’re not), or because they have more money than everyone else (they don’t).
They got him because their owner was able to take risks no other owner could take, because he was breaking the law.
KMC (@kmcsleevesusa) Hard Perfect Fits will actually help flatten foils. I have proof!

Stormtrooper Data collection project for @mtgtheepicstorm. ~25 individuals worth of games.
At what point does Energy just decide to throw the match-up?
When I was testing for Eternal Weekend a few years ago, KoolooLimpah was nice enough to test against me. What I found was 2 answers vs 8 answers to lock pieces didn't actually impact the win percentage at all.

Guess it took Thalia dying to find God and realize she was on the wrong side of the matchup the whole time. Welcome to combo.
